PRODUCTION AREA: It is located in the district comprising the hills in the heart of the province of Ancona and, in small measure, the province of Macerata.
The wines produced in the oldest original area, the Castelli di Jesi, are marked as "Classico".
VINE VARIETY: It si obtained from the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico D.O.C. grape variety. Other authorised white wine grape varieties, can be added up to a maximum of 15%.
ELEVATION: 250 Meters above sea level.
SOIL: Clay, medium loose.
AGE OF VINEYARDS: 15 years.
VINE TRAINING: Guyot.
MAXIMUM YIELD: 100 q/ha.
NUMBER OF PRODUCED BOTTLES: 7000.
CATEGORY: Spumante, sparkling wine.
APPEARANCE: Straw yellow with green shimmer.
BOUQUET: Fruity with floral hints.
PERLAGE: Fine and persistent.
TASTE: Balanced and persistent with a slight bitter aftertaste.
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 12% vol. SERVING TEMPERATURE: 12° (In the ice bucket)
FOOD PAIRING: Appetizers and fish-based dishes. Excellent as an aperitif.
